Dr. Nitza I. Alvarez is a board-certified cardiologist and one of the leading experts on women’s heart diseases.
Dr. Alvarez completed her medical graduation with honors from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, Ponce, Puerto Rico in 2003, which earned her a membership of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She later moved to Albany, NY, where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center. Then, she followed it up with a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases. Subsequently, she moved to The Villages, Florida and has been offering medical care to her patients there ever since.
